Azerbaijani scientists conducted scientific researches in Austria and Georgia within the international project

A meeting was held on 29 December at the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of ANAS on the project "Knowledge sharing and academic cultures Europe and the Black Sea region in humanitarian sciences, " financed by the European Commission's Horizon 2020 Program.

The results of the work done during the year discussed at the event. It was noted that Azerbaijani scientists conducted research and acquired materials in the the libraries of of the University of Graz named after Karl and Franz  and Batumi State University named after Shota Rustaveli. At the same time, they took part in scientific exchange meetings with Austrian and Georgian counterparts, acquainted with European methodology.

At the meeting, the participants exchanged views on the topics and activities that the researchers will explore.

Representatives of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography and Institute of History of ANAS take part in the project. The general coordinator of the project is Professor Karl Kayzer, Head of the Department of the Austrian Graz University named after Karl and Franz. The project, which began in January this year, will last for four years.
