Within the framework of Orders of the Chairman of the Supreme Mejlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic "On books to be read" dated August 28, 2017, ANAS Institute of Arts, Language and Literature of the Nakhchivan Division held a scientific conference dedicated to the work by Nasreddin Tusi – “Ahlagi-Nasiri” on August 28, 2017.

Speaking at the event, the chairman of the Duivision, academician Ismail Hajiyev spoke about life, activities, rich heritage and valuable works of the world-famous thinker, prominent Azerbaijani scientist, philosopher Muhammad Nasreddin Tusi. He noted that, Tusi's work was based on the idea of purifying human morality. Having brought to the attention that, in the personal library of N.Tusi there are 400 thousand publications, Academician I.Hajiyev emphasized that, a prominent scholar attached great importance to reading, which he considered necessary for the acquisition of knowledge and human development. I.Hajiyev stressed that, the work “Ahlagi-Nasiri” by Tusi, which has a special significance from the social, economic, political, philosophical and educational points of view, has remained relevant in the modern period.

Then, was delivered papers by Director of the Institute of Arts, Language and Literature, correspondent member of ANAS Abulfaz Guliyev on "Life and work of Nasireddin Tusi", head of the Department of Literature of the same Institute, Ph.D. in Philology Ramiz Gasimov on "Nasreddin Tusi - poet and literary critic", chief laboratory assistant of Department Sahib Aliyev "Ahlagi-Nasiri" as a didactic work", Director of the Batabat Astrophysical Observatory, Ph.D in mathematics Gulu Gaziyev on "The history of writing the work "Ahlagi- Nasiri”, head of the Manuscripts Fund, PhD in Philology Sabuhi Ibragimov on "Ahlagi-Nasiri" and public relations". It was noted that, the work of the outstanding scientist “Ahlagi-Nasiri” will become a source of pride for future generations.

Then, Director of the Institute of History, Ethnography and Archeology, corresponding member of ANAS Fakhraddin Safarli, a member of the Institute of Natural Resources, Doctor of Chemistry Bayram Rzayev and others spoke about Tusi’s clan.
