As is known, this year will be held outstanding thinker , writer Mirza Shafi Vazeh’s 220th anniversary. In this regard, President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree dated February 3 , 2014 and the large-scale study of the scientific basis of the world-famous poet's legacy started .

An article dedicated to Ganja environment of Mirza Shafi period was published in German language in Germany's prestigious international scientific publication - “Europaische Fachhochschule " Journal.

The authors of scientific publications are leading scientific worker of the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography , Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Nargis Guliyeva and doctoral candidate of Ganja Department Elnur Hasanov.

For the first time, Mirza Shafi Vazeh’s works , as well as other numerous scientific sources has been studied in the article.
