International 5th Mugham Festival "World of Mugham" will be held on March 7-15, organized jointly by Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Ministry of Culture and Tourism, ANAS, National Conservatory and Composers Union.

the festival has been held in our country since 2009 and this year’s is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic.

The opening concert of the festival will take place on 7 March at the Heydar Aliyev Palace.

The official opening of the symposium will take place at the National History Museum of Azerbaijan. In addition, the program includes U.Hajibeyli's "Koroglu" opera, "Leyli and Majnun" and "Seven Beauties" by the composer on the occasion of Gara Garayev's 100th jubilee. Reports will be presented during the festival due to the composer's jubilee. "The Ideology of Azerbaijanism in Mugham Art" and "The Emblem and Traces of Mugham in Gara Garayev's Works" will be the main themes.
