Ganja State Philharmonic organized a concert program within the framework of the V International Mugam Festival "Mugham World" which held in our country on March 8.

Noting that, the continuation of the V International Mugham Festival in Ganja is not an accident, E.Valiyev said that the city of Ganja, which is an ancient center of science, culture and art of the East and Azerbaijan, is famous for its writers, musicians, khanende and sazende.

Speaking at the event, the head of the executive power of Ganja city Elmar Veliyev congratulated the representatives of the fair sex from March 8 - International Women's Day and wished them success in their work.

Then, to womens, who distinguished themselves in the social and political life of the city, were doneted the certificates of honor and valuable gifts.

The event was continued by a concert program performed by the Ganja State Philharmonic Society after Fikrat Amirov. The concert featured performances by such prominent composers as Muslim Magomaev, Tofig Guliev, Jahangir Jahangirov, Rauf Hajiev, Alakbar Tagiev, Emin Sabitoglu, Oktay Kazimi, Farhad Badalbeyli, Siyavush Kerimi, Vagif Gerayzadeh, as well as folk songs and classics. The closing ceremony of the festival will be held on March 14 in the Azerbaijan State Academic Philharmonic.
