Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

On May 10, 2018, the Institute of History of ANAS will host the republican scientific conference of young researchers on "Azerbaijan as the successor of the Azerbaijan People’s Republic".

The scientific conference was dedicated to the 95th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev and the 100th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic.

The conference will have lectures on theme "Deportation and genocide against Turkic-Muslim peoples in the twentieth century", "Azerbaijan Democratic Republic and foreign policy of the Republic of Azerbaijan: similar moments", "The struggle against tsarism in North Azerbaijan and other territories inhabited by Turkic peoples”.

Theses should be sent to the Organizing Committee by April 15. The volume of the thesis should not be more than 250-300 words and the electronic version should be sent by e-mail (historygencler@gmail.com). The text should be typed in Microsoft Word 2007-2010 in Times New Roman font. The font size should be 14, linear interval 1.5, distance from left to right, 3 cm from right, 1 cm from right, and 2 cm from bottom.

Materials of the conference will be published and distributed to the participants. The age of conference participants is under 35.
