ANAS Institute of Literature after Nizami Ganjavi held an event dedicated to the Novruz holiday.

Speaking about the traditions of Novruz, ANAS Vice-president, director of the Institute of Literature, academician Isa Habibbeyli noted that, this holiday is a holiday of national unity of the Azerbaijani people. It was noted that today in our country is a successful and stable policy of President Ilham Aliyev, founded by the great leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev.

I.Habibbeyli congratulated the Institute staff and conveyed to them the best wishes.

The chairman of Azerbaijan Ashugov Union, head of the Department of Folklore and Literature Monuments of the Institute of Literature, Professor Maharram Gasimli delivered a report on the history of the Novruz holiday.

Then, the members of Azerbaijan Ashigov Union - famous ashigues Galandar Zeynalov, Altai Mammadli, Gezal Kelbajarli and Sardar Mammadli sang songs on the occasion of the holiday.

In conclusion, the employers of the Institute were presented with the calendars of the Institute of Literature. Nizami Ganjavi, published on the occasion of the Novruz holiday.
