Members of ANAS Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of and the Ministry of Emergencies visited Guba Memorial Complex of Genocide 100th anniversary of the genocide on March 31.

At first, the visitors laid the carnations on a mass grave, which is a clear proof of the brutality of the Armenians.

Then, in the hall of the Guba memorial complex of genocide, with the organizational support of the employees of the Trade Union of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and with the participation of young scientists and researchers of the republic was held the scientific and practical conference "The Genocide of Azerbaijanis - 100 years".

After remembrance of the memory of the victims of the genocide and martyrs who gave their lives for the freedom and territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the chairman of the Trade Union Mehman Ismayilov detailed the atrocities committed by the Armenians against Azerbaijanis throughout history. M.Ismayilov told about the works of the national leader Heydar Aliyev and AR President Ilham Aliyev aimed at perpetuating the memory of the victims of the genocide, restoring the national memory of the people, revealing historical realities.

Speaking at the conference, the chairman of the ICUS, the Ph.D. in Physics, associate professor Famin Salmanov noted that the genocide of March 31 is considered one of the most horrible tragedies of the 20th century and the Gubin memorial complex of genocide is a clear proof of the atrocities committed by Armenians against our compatriots.

Then, Ziya Gadzhili, deputy head of the Secretariat of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, spoke on the topic "Analysis of the historical and political significance of the events of the 1918 genocide in preserving the national memory of the Azerbaijani people and restoring historical truth" and stressed that, perpetuating the memory of the victims of the genocide will play an important role in restoring the bloody memory of the Azerbaijani people.

In the conference head of the Public Relations Department of the Institute of the History of Science of ANAS Javidan Gasimli, leading researcher of the Institute of History, Ph.D. in History Lamiya Gafarzadeh, doctoral student of the Literary Criticism Department of the Institute of Literature Gulnar Gasimli and others talked about the scale and results of March 31 events, including Other vandalisms committed by Armenians in the XX century.

In conclusion, the guests got acquainted with the documentary exhibits belonging to the genocide, stored in the complex.
