ANAS Institute of Linguistics after Nasimi held a meeting of the Working Group of the Orthographic Commission on April 27.

At the event, ANAS Vice-President, chairman of the Working Group, academician Isa Habibbeyli informed about the changes in the new rules of spelling. He noted that, the changes are based on the rules of the Azerbaijani language, and they will not be applied in the entrance exams of universities this year.

Summing up their work, the Working Group submitted them to the Orthographic Commission.

It should be noted that, the Working Group, which functioned under the commission for four months, held regular meetings devoted to the rules of spelling. The Working Group included well-known linguists.
