ANAS Institute of the History of Sciences held a "round table" dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev.

Opening the event, the academician-secretary of the Department of Social Sciences of ANAS, academician Nargiz Akhundova, spoke about the rich political legacy of the great leader, the reforms implemented and the work done to strengthen our country's independence.

Then, director of the Institute of the History of Science, Doctor of History Maryam Seidbeyli delivered a paper on "The role of the national leader Heydar Aliyev in the formation of the national elite." The scientist said in her speech that, the formation of our national elite covered a long historical period, and the merits of the national leader of our people are exceptional in this.

At the event the scientific secretary of the Institute, Ph.D. in political sciences Zaur Aliyev, the head of the Public Relations Department Javidan Gasimli, the leading research of the institution, Ph.D. in economy Amal Hasanli and others spoke about the substantial life and activities of the great leader Heydar Aliyev.
