Institute of Manuscripts named after Mohammed Fuzuli held a meeting with the rector of Tashkent State University of Uzbek language and Literature named after Alisher Navaiy, professor Shohrat Sirajaddinov.
Deputy directors of the Institute of Manuscripts, doctors of philological sciences Aybaniz Aliyeva-Kangarli and Pasha Karimov informed about the history of the establishment of the scientific institution, protected manuscripts, their restoration and digitalization, scientific-research works.
During the conversation, it was also talked about research works on the Azerbaijan-Uzbek literary relations.
Sh.Siradzadinov spoke about the university's activities, specialties, and noted that this university is a major ideological center of the country and a unique place where the manuscript are collected in Uzbekistan. He noted that within the framework of the memorandum signed last year between our university and the Institute of Manuscripts named after M. Fuzuli, two research institutes can carry out a joint project
Afterwards, the guest was introduced to the exhibition hall of the Institute of Manuscripts and was informed about rare manuscripts preserved here. Professor Sh.Sirajaddinov acquainted with the list of works preserved by the institute and the oldest copies of Alisher Navoiy.
