Obtained copy of XVII-XVIII centuries Nasha Tabriz’s divan

Deputy Director for scientific affairs of ANAS Institute of Manuscripts after Mahammad Fuzuli, Doctor of Philology Pasha Karimov has obtained copy of the divan by Nasha Tabriz stored in the Topkapi Palace Museum (Istanbul) belonging to the XVII-XVIII centuries.

At the end of the divan, written mostly in Persian - collected poems of the poet in Turkish.

Abdurrazzaq Nesha Tabrizi was from the clan of dynast of Garagoyunlu Jahanshah Hagi, was a famous mathematician and scholar of his time, he participated in the campaigns of Nadir Shah. Divan poems in Azerbaijan are connected with Nadir Shah. One of these poems is dedicated to the event in connection with order by Nadir Shah in 1743 of on the vestments in gold of the mausoleum of Hazrat Ali in the Najaf city.

In the divan there are also lyrical poems in the native language of the poet.
