Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

The work within the framework of joint project ANAS Republican Seismic Survey Center and US Department of Energy and the Center for Scientific Technologies of Ukraine "Caucasian cut" is continue.

In connection with this, American seismologists, Professor Erik Sandvol from the University of Missouri, research fellow Gianels James, head of the International Relations Department Telman Jafarov, staff of the Epicentral Department Nijat Askerov, Asif Suleisanov and the staff of the Earthquake Research Department Vugar Faradzhov carried out work on placing 6 stations in the Ismayilli region, 1 in Goychay and 6 stations in Guba along the "Caucasian cut".

Note that, within the project, four seismic stations were installed in Hajigabul, Neftchala, Goychay and Gusar regions.
