Scientists of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS will attend in an international conference in Kazan

15-17 May 2014, by organization of Kazan Federal University of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation and Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication will be held international conference “Literature and culture of Turkic peoples in the context of East-West”.

The event will be organized in the Republic of Tatarstan, Kazan that declared the cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2014.

The conference has been invited the director of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS, Doctor of Philology Mukhtar Kazimoglu, head of the institute department PhD in philology Aghaverdi Khalilov and senior scientific worker Galib Sayilov. In the conference M. Kazimoglu will report on “Change of apparel and names in the context of image doubling in the folklore”, A. Khalilov - “Archaic genre aydim in Oguz epic” G.Sayilov - “Semantic features of religious views in proverbs”.

Conference proceedings will be published as a bulk.
