Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Institute of Oriental Studies of ANAS published the materials of the international scientific conference "Actual Problems of Contemporary Oriental Studies" ("Recital of Ziya Bunyadov") dedicated to the outstanding historian, orientalist, public figure, Hero of the Soviet Union, academician Ziya Bunyadov.

Reports of about 100 scientists from Azerbaijan, Russia, Turkey, Georgia and Uzbekistan were published in the sections: "Historiography and source study of ancient and medieval history of the East", "Public and political processes in modern eastern countries", "Public, philosophical and spiritual thoughts of the peoples of the East", "Problems of the study of literature of Eastern peoples" and "Problems of studying the languages of the peoples of the East".

The collection includes reports by ANAS Vice-President, academician Isa Habibbeyli and director of the Institute of Oriental Studies of academician Govhar Bakhshaliyeva. The members of the editorial board are academicians Isa Habibbeyli, Nargiz Akhundov, Naila Velikhanly, Govkhar Bakhshaliyeva and Shahin Mustafayev.
