Associate of ANAS Institute of Geology and Geophysics attends the international training-workshop in Turkiye.

Bahruz Ahadov, scientific worker of the Institute of Geodynamics and Seismology department investigates scientists’ findings in the field of earthquake engineering and disaster management within the “Earthquake Engineering and Disaster Management” program. At present, scientists at Istanbul Technical University are shared the results of this information with seminar attendees.

Delegates from 14 countries are together participating in the workshop.

According to the above-mentioned department head, corresponding member of ANAS Fakhraddin Gadirov a lot of the projects carried out in collaboration with scientific institutions of Turkiye, as well as exchange of experience was held in order to train young professionals in the fields of geodynamics and seismology.

Seminar will be continued till May 16 is held in conjunction with the Japan International Cooperation Agency within the framework of a three-year program.
