International Conference "Azykh Cave and streams of migration in Azerbaijan" are being continued its work in Gabala

The conference on the Azykh Cave and streams of migration in Azerbaijan dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the discovery of a part of the jaw bone of a primitive man, family of early hominids - Azykhtropus are being continued its work in Gabala.

The participants of the event got acquainted with the unique samples of material culture from different periods of Azerbaijan and the Gabala archaeological center lobby. A representative of one of the organizers of the conference of the Association of Azerbaijan-Korean Cultural Exchange SEBA (Seoul-Baku), Leading Researcher of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography, Ph.D. in history Irada Najafova told about the center and its activities. Then, a documentary about the archaeological excavations in Gabala was demonstrated.

Among the participants were Director of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of ANAS, Professor Maisa Rahimova, director of the National Museum of Azerbaijan History, academician Naila Valikhanli, academician-secretary of the Department of Social Sciences, academician Nargiz Akhundova and chairman of the Association of Azerbaijan-Korean Cultural Exchange SEBA (Seoul-Baku) Ruhangiz Heydarova.

The conference will continue till October 5.
