Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Employees of the Istanbul Military Museum Omar Faruk Arslan and Dincher Karasoy visited the National Museum of Azerbaijan History.

Director of this scientific institution, academician Naila Velikhanli stressed the importance of relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey. She stressed that, by order of President Ilham Aliyev, were carried out capital repairs at the museum.

Omar Faruk Arslan said that, for the exhibition at the “Icherisheher” State Historical-Architectural Reserve the armored military clothing and weapons of the Shirvanshahs state were brought from the Istanbul Military Museum.

Then, the issue of cooperation between museums was discussed. Then, to the guests were donated publications of the museum and was held a tour on museum’s expositions.
