Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The monograph "Ethnographic lexicon of dialects and accents of Nakhchivan" was published by the Head of Linguistics Department of the Institute of Art, Language and Literature of Nakhchivan Division of ANAS, PhD in Philology, Associate Professor Nuray Aliyeva.

The scientific editor of the publication and the author of the front-line is correspondent member of ANAS Abulfaz Guliyev, the reviewer is Doctor of Philology, Professor Ibrahim Bayramov.

The monograph, consisting of five chapters, researchers results and the list of used literature, was interesting lexemes, which were developed in separate regions of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and did not exist in our literary language.

The names of plants, food and clothing, lexicon carpet weaving, kinship and tradition, agricultural and livestock terms have been also researched, and the study of these words is important for our language.
