Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

ANAS Academician-Secretary, Director of the Institute of Information Technology, academician Rasim Alguliyev and head of the Department of International Relations of the Institute Babak Nabiyev attended the 16th meeting of the General Assembly of the GEANT Association and the meetings of the EaPConnect Management Board held in Amsterdam.

At a meeting of the EaPConnect Management Board was listened reports on Eastern Partnership countries. Academician R.Alguliyev delivered a report on the work done in Azerbaijan on the above project and informed the participants on the activities of ANAS Institute of Information Technology in this direction.

The institute's report on the EaPConnect project was accepted and noted the satisfactory.

It should be noted that, at the session of the General Assembly of the Association GEANT were held elections to determine the composition of the Management Council. During voting proses Azerbaijan was represented by academician R.Alguliev.
