Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Academician-Secretary of the Division of Humanitarian Sciences, Director of Institute of Manuscripts after Mahammad Fuzuli, academician Teymur Karimli within the framework of the project “Dynamics of historical development of literature and art of the peoples of Azerbaijan and Turkey and perspectives of multicultural processes” is on a business trip to Turkey.

During the visit, scientist also got acquainted with the well-known Manuscript Foundation of the Suleymaniye Library. With the assistance of the library head Menderes Velioglu, academician obtained the copies of several manuscripts of the great Azerbaijani poet Nizami Ganjavi.

Rare samples of the works were kept at the Hagia Sophia library and obtained today copy of manuscripts will assist scientists in Nizami’s heritage study.
