Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Branch of “Evolution training” department of BSU was established at ANAS Institute of Genetic Resources.

The aim is enhancing the integration of science and education, involving the innovations to the training process in the field of genetics, biotechnology, breeding and seed-growing, staff training, and joint research.

While establishing the branch on April 18 by the decision of ANAS general meeting this year, were taken account many years of successful cooperation between Baku State University and GRI in the field of science and education, availability of scientific research institute laboratories equipped with modern equipment, operation of foreign-educated young staff in the sphere of genetics, biotechnology, breeding and seed-growing.
