Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

In 2018, Azerbaijan Democratic Republic (ADR) is 100th - the 1st parliamentary republic in the Muslim East. In accordance with the Order of President Ilham Aliyev dated May 16, 2017, “The 100th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic” the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan has developed a relevant action plan.

In addition to that, were held a number of events in our country and abroad. After reviewing numerous archival documents the Center of Scientific Heritage under the Presidium of ANAS published a book-album “The History of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic”.

The publication, authored by the head of the Center, Dr. of History Zemfira Hajiyeva contains information about political factions, deputies, as well as interesting information about the ADR government. Also on the basis of official documents, readers are provided with information on the role of the republic in the development of Azerbaijani statehood.
