Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Recently, by the decision of the Academic Council of ANAS Institute of Manuscripts after Mahammad Fuzuli the textbook “The 1st step in Turkic literature” written under the co-authorship of Mahmud Makhmudbekov and Abbas Sahat in 1914 reprinted by “Elm” Publishing House.

The book has been prepared for publication under the scientific advice of Doctor on Philology Aybeniz Aliyeva-Kengerly, compiled and the author of the "Preface" - Saadat Nasirova and the scientific editor - D.Ph. Ali Mamadbagir.

It should be noted that, the textbook was compiled in accordance with the objectives of the First Congress of Teachers, held in Baku in 1906. The textbook is designed for university students and high school students.
