Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

ANAS Institute of Microbiology held a scientific-practical conference on the “Actual problems of modern biology” topic.

Deputy Director for Scientific Afair of the Institute, corresponding member of ANAS Panah Muradov opened the event, spoke about the achievements of the youth policy, which was laid by national leader Heydar Aliyev and successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev. The scientist noted that, last year young scientists and specialists of the institute actively participated in the scientific and social life of the academy.

Next, chairman of ANAS Council of Young Scientists and Specialists, PhD in physical and mathematical sciences, associate professor Famin Salmanov spoke about important steps taken in the direction of youth development.

The conference also presented lectures on topical issues of biology. Then, Director of the Institute, academician Mammad Salmanov spoke about the role of youth in society. In conclusion, author of the best reports were awarded honorary diplomas and cash awards.
