Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

On June 23-27, 2014 an international conference “Botany: History, Theory, Practice” will be held in St. Petersburg, Russia, dedicated to 300th anniversary of the Institute of Botany named after V.L.Komarov.

Head of the Department of Embriophyta Systematics of the Institute of Botany, PhD in biology Vugar Karimov and Deputy Director of the Central Botanical Garden, PhD in biology Vahid Farzaliev will participate at the event by the invitation of the head of the institute.

It should be noted that the event is included to the list of UNESCO as the most important events of 2014.
