Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Director of the Institute of Geography named after H.Aliyev acad. Ramiz Mammadov, deputy director for scientific affairs corresponding member of ANAS Elbrus Alizadeh and PhD in geography senior lecturer Irina Kuchinskaya will be on a trip to Poland on August 19 – 25.

They will assist regional scientific conference to be organized in Krakow city titled as “Variability and durability” by the International Geographical Union.  R. Mammadov and E. Alizadeh will deliver a lecture on “Geomorphological risk in Azerbaijan”, I. Kuchinskaya joint with senior lecturer S. Guliyeva on “Ecolandscape-recreation potential of the mountains "(in the case of Azerbaijan part of the Greater Caucasus).
