Scientific-practical conference on "Research University: what we do not know" was held at the Azerbaijan State Economic University on February 27 within the framework of "Science Month".

Rector of the University, Professor Adalat Muradov spoke about the importance of the Decree of the Head of State on the establishment of "Science Day" in the Republic of Azerbaijan. According to the decree, the Science Week will be held in the higher school from February 27 to March 27.

Chairman of the Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship of Milli Mejlis, academician Ziyad Samadzadeh said that Azerbaijan State Economic University is important for the economy of the state.

Academician-Secretary of ANAS Department of Social Sciences, academician Nargiz Akhundova's"The Main Problems of Social Sciences" and Professor Zahid Mammadov’s "New trends in scientific activity of universities: international experience and realities" lectures were discussed.
