Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

"Lambert Academic Publishing" has published the monograph "The Problem of the Armenian Question in the Ottoman Empire" by Ziyad Amrahov, the Head of the Department of Histology and Sources of History of the Institute of History of ANAS, PhD on History.

Monograph covers a very complicated, controversial and at the same time an interesting period in Ottoman history. The role of tsarist Russia, Britain, France, as well as the Armenian church and missionary organizations in the 19th century, was revealed in the Ottoman Empire in the so-called "Armenian Question". There are also views on the problem of Turkish historiography. Comparative analysis of the works of Azerbaijan, Russia and Western researchers was made to reveal the true essence of the problem of "Armenian Question ".

The publication is intended for professionals, historians, politicians, as well as a wide audience of readers interested in Ottoman history.
