The author of the monograph “Archaeological Monuments of the Ordubad Region Bronze and Early Iron Period” is a leading researcher of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography, a member of local and international archaeological expeditions (Azerbaijan-France, Azerbaijan-USA) Ph.D. in History Elvin Aliyev.

The monograph analyzes all the monuments and archaeological materials obtained and registered in the territory, both stationary excavations and works of an exploratory nature. The settlements of the Bronze and Early Iron Age, material and cultural samples found on the territory of archaeological monuments were investigated, groupings, analogies and comparisons were carried out and their origin and chronological analysis were investigated.

The work consists of three chapters. The first chapter is devoted to archaeological research on the history of the Ordubad region. The second chapter contains information on the archaeological monuments of the Bronze and Early Iron Age - settlements, grave monuments and rock paintings. The third chapter was a classification of archaeological materials - tools, ceramics, weapons and decorative objects.

The scientific editor of the publication is Ph.D. in History Safar Ashurov, reviewers are corresponding member of the ANAS Vali Bakhshaliyev and Ph.D. in History Bahlul Ibrahimli.

The monograph is intended for archaeologists, historians, as well as for a wide range of readers.
