Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Bureau of ANAS Division of Earth Sciences held next meeting. Academician Fakhraddin Gadirov opened the meeting and informed the participants on the issues on the agenda.

During the event, was considered the issue on results of admission to doctoral studies for the PhD training for the 2018-2019 academic year.

Academician noted that, in the current academic year, 14 people were entered on the doctoral program for the PhD training. He said that, dissertation topics should cover priority areas of earth sciences and to be selected in accordance with the fundamental requirements of modern science.

After discussion, the Division approved the topics of dissertations and supervisors, it was also decided to send the results of admission to the Presidium of ANAS.

The meeting discussed the issue on awarding employees of the Academy of Sciences the certificates of honor. The importance of the Order of AR President Ilham Aliyev on the establishment of the Day of Science in the country dated April 9, 2018 was discussed.

In conclusion, were discussed a number of current issues.
