Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

At the Institute of Polymer Materials of ANAS held a meeting dedicated to March 27 - Science Day.

Director of the Institute, correspondent member of ANAS Bakhtiyar Mammadov said that the Order of Science Day dated 9 April 2018 signed by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, is an expression of care for Azerbaijani science and scientists. He informed about the measures taken at the Polymer Materials Institute.

Then academician-secretary of the Department of Chemical Sciences of ANAS, academician Vagif Farzaliyev congratulated participants of the event on Science Day and wished them success in their further scientific activities. He noted that national leader Heydar Aliyev's return to the political power in Azerbaijan, the country has embarked on a new phase of development, as well as other spheres of society.

At the event, a group of employees of the Institute of Polymer Materials awarded the Honorary Decrees of the Division of Chemical Sciences for their contribution to the development of chemistry in Azerbaijan on the occasion of Science Day.

In the end, correspondent member of ANAS Yavuz Rustamov said that the Academy plays an important role in all stages of development of the country. He noted that successful reforms in science development in Azerbaijan in recent years.
