Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Director of the Institute of Genetic Resources of ANAS Zeynal Akperovhas received Iranian scientists – general director of Ornamental Crops Research Institute of Iran Dr. Pejman Azadi, professor of Agricultural Biotechnology Research Institute of Iran, Department of Molecular Physiology Babak Nakhoda and professor of the University of Tehran Mir Masoumi.

The aim was to discuss cooperation ties on agro-biotechnology, molecular breeding, molecular physiology, genomics, and determination and the biosafety of genetically modified crops.

During the meeting Institute of Genetic Resources and Agrarian Biotechnology Research Institute of Iran decided to sign a cooperation agreement for collaborative research.
