ANAS Institute of Soil Science and Agro Chemistry held the scientific seminar on “Vermicultivation is the key to environmental improvement” devoted to the March 27 – “Science Day”. The event was attended by employees of the Ministry of Agriculture, Institute of Botany and Institute of Soil Science and Agro Chemistry.

Director of the institute, corresponding member of ANAS Alovsat Guliyev opened seminar noted that, the event was held in the framework of the Order of the President of the country dated April 9, 2018. Then, the leading researcher of the laboratory of the Institute, Ph.D. in Agrarian Sciences Professor Safaladdin Ismailov delivered a report. He noted that, vermicultivation is one of the most widely used technologies in a number of developed countries.

Then, academicians Garib Mamedov, Maharram Babayev, a representative of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ph.D. in Agrarian Sciences Imran Jumshudov, Deputy Director of the Institute of Botany, Doctor of Biological Sciences Eldar Novruzov and others took part in discussion.
