Today, ANAS Institute of Linguistics after Nasimi held the 90th anniversary of Professor Oruj Musaev

Director of the Institute of Linguistics, academician Naghisoylu Mohsun spoke about the effective scientific activities of the scientist and his contribution to the development of linguistics.

He noted that, the scientist began his career in 1956 and worked for more than 50 years at the Azerbaijan University of Languages, Department of English grammar, first as a teacher and then as a senior teacher, head of the Department and vice-rector of the University. In 2013–2019, he worked as a Department head at the Institute of Linguistics.

Further, head of the Department of the Institute, Professor Ilham Tahirov told about the rich scientific heritage of the scientist, his achievements in grammar and lexicography of the English language. Professors Edison Hajiyev, Arif Huseynov and Ismail Mammadov shared their memories of the outstanding linguist-scientist, told about his scientific and educational activities.
