National Leader Heydar Aliyev's 96th Anniversary were celebrated at the ANAS Institute of Linguistics, Caucasian Studies, Oriental Studies, History of Science, Botany, Radiation Problems, Archeology and Ethnography, National Museum of Azerbaijan Literature and Huseyn Javid's House Museum.

For the first, the great leader was commemorated of a minute of silence.

The speakers noted that the prominent statesman, national leader Heydar Aliyev is a modern Azerbaijani architect and founder, said that this year will mark the 50th anniversary of the great leader's coming to power in our country. He said that the national leader came back to power in 1993 when the country was in a very difficult situation with the insistence of the people, stability in our republic as a result of its political vision, leadership qualities and brilliant intelligence.

In addition, the success of the nation's leader in the economic, political, scientific, cultural, military and other spheres of power has been achieved, and the country's revenues and investment flows have been rapidly expanded for the modern development of the "Contract of the Century".

It was noted that President Ilham Aliyev is a successful successor of the traditions of the great leader.
