Executive Board of ANAS Young Scientists and Specialists Council (YSSC) met with student and masters’ degree in Lankaran within the framework of “Science promotion in the regions” campaign.

In advance, Young scientists visited the monument of national leader Heydar Aliyev in the center of the city, after having visited the Heydar Aliyev Center in Lankaran city. YSSC has continued its program at the New Azerbaijan Party, Lankaran city organization. During a meeting with the youth council chairman, PhD in physics Famin Salamnov said that, despite the short period of time has passed since the establishment of the organization, a number of important projects have already been implemented.

Chairman of the New Azerbaijan Party Lankaran organization, Ilgar Dadashovhighly appreciated the initiatives to promote science in southern region including Lankaran region.

Meeting with students and masters’ degree of Lankaran State University, the rector of the university, director of Lankaran Regional Scientific Center, Dr. physics-math prof. Asef Iskenderov stressed the need for students and masters from a university to practice in scientific institutions and organizations of ANAS in order to increase the theoretical and practical knowledge.

Following lectures were attended in a event: leading scientific worker of the Institute of Literature PhD in philology Konul Hajıyeva on “Contemporary issues in the study of the classical heritage”, chairman of the board of scientists and specialists of the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography, PhD in history Bakhtiyar Jalilov on “The Bronze Age burial traditions”, chairman of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of Central Scientific Library Narmina Abdullayeva on “The role of libraries in the informatization of society and the state policy in this sphere” , the chairman of the board of scientists and specialists of the Institute of Economics, PhD in economics, senior lecturer Agil Asadov on “Role of the Institute of Economics in socio-economic development of the Republic of Azerbaijan” , chairman of the board of the young scientists and specialists of the Institute of Folklore PhD in philology Nail Kurbanov on"Ethnic identity and national identity issues in the context of folklore”.
