On May 22, the President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, academician Alexander Sergeyev visited the ADA University.
Academician Akif Alizadeh, vice-presidents of ANAS, academicians Ibrahim Guliyev and Rasim Alguliev, academician Roald Sagdeev, academician-secretary of the Department of Physical, Mathematical and Technical Sciences, academician Nazim Mammadov, Director of the Institute for Legal Studies and Regional Integration, Professor Rashad Gurbanov, Head of the International Relations Department of the Presidium, Associate Professor Esmira Alirzayeva and others attended the event.
First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Rector of ADA University Hafiz Pashayev informed the guests about the institution of higher education. He noted that ADA was established under the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry in March 2006. He said ADA University was founded on the basis of President Ilham Aliyev's Order dated 13 January 2014 on the basis of the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the University of Information Technology. The main mission of the university is to prepare global leaders in diplomacy, public relations, business, information technology and systems engineering. At present, ADA has created all conditions for the students to study at the highest level, according to world science priorities.
Then the delegation led by academician Alexander Sergeyev got acquainted with the educational center of ADA University. The guests were informed about the university's students and teachers, the educational process, the innovative environment created here. It was noted that ADA has scientific cooperation relations with about 70 foreign universities, including several leading Russian universities.
A. Sergeev highly appreciated ADA's activities and projects implemented in the field of education, saying that currently, similar measures are being taken to establish such innovative universities in Russia.
In the end, ADA University and the Russian Academy of Sciences made relevant decisions on continuing human resources exchange.
