Karabakh Neolithic-Eneolithic expedition of the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography is carrying out archaeological investigations in Karabakh Plain - at the Ismayılbeytepe Neolithic settlement located in Khindiristan village, Aghdam.
During archaeological excavations a large number of samples - walls of the buildings aged eight thousand years, sling stones and household jugs were found.
2 household jugs and 52 sling stones larger than the traditional measures were found in the area of 400 square meters.
In addition to the excavation work, experts registered more than 30 archaeological monuments in Aghjabedi and Barda regions in electron form and mapped them.
