Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Folklore was held.

The event was opened by the Director of the institute, Dr. in PhilologyMukhtar Kazimoglu and he talked about the issues on the agenda.

Reza Khalilov was elected as a chief of classic folklore department, Naile Rehimbeyli as a chief of music folklore department.

Then head of the department of Mythology of the Institute, Dr. in Philology Seyfaddin Rzasoy made a lecture on the topic “Mursal Hakimov-85”,. He gave detailed information about a well-known folklorist and professor Mursal Hakimov’s life and creativity.

At the end, M.Hakimov’s daughter, PhD in biology Nubar Hakimova thanked the organizers for their attention to his father's memory.
