Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The next seminar dedicated to the 650th anniversary of prominent Azerbaijani poet Imadeddin Nasimi has been held at the Institute of Oriental Studies named after academician Z.Bunyadov.

The event was opened by academician Govhar Bakhshaliyeva and she informed President Ilham Aliyev’s decree "On the celebration of the 650th jubilee of the great Azerbaijani poet Imadeddin Nasimi" on 15 November 2018 and declaring 2019 as the Year of Nasimi in the Republic of Azerbaijan on January 11, 2019.

Then the scientific secretary of the Presidium of ANAS, doctor of philological sciences Sarkhan Khavari made a report "Imadeddin Nasimi: the philosophical poetry of art and clergy integrity". In his speech, he said that the ideas of Sufism in the work of the most prominent representative of the 14th century Turkic-speaking Azerbaijani literature, Imadeddin Nasimi.

The speeches were followed and the exchanged views after the report was listened.
