According to the archaeologist, four a new settlements of the Eneolithic period were discovered - Sarijali, Garagantapa, Garus-1 and Garus-2 near the villages of Chemenli and Sarijali. The state of protection of archaeological sites in the Agdam region was also checked.

Materials obtained as a result of excavations in the territory of the settlement of Palidli-2, XII-XI centuries BC and the multi-layered settlement Shomulutapa once again confirm the direct connection between these settlements and the neighboring necropolis of Palydly.

Archaeological research conducted in Karabakh for more than 130 years, for the first time revealed a connection between the necropolis and residential areas.
