Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Members of the project "Exchange of knowledge and academic cultures in the humanities, Europe and the Black Sea region" funded by the European Commission's “Horizon 2020” program visited ANAS Central Scientific Library.

The coordinator of the project, head of the Department of History and Anthropology of Southeast Europe, Graz University of Austria named after Karl and Franz, Professor Karl Kaiser and and Dominic Gutmayer, an employee of the same the Department acquainted with the library activities.

First, guests got acquainted with the exhibitions “Heydar Aliyev-95”, “Azerbaijan Democratic Republic - 100”, “Ilham Aliyev”, “Isa Gabibbeyli - 70”, “Khojaly genocide”. The guests were informed on the activities of the Diplomatic Fundation, the Found of Rare Books and the Western European Literary Fundation, located at the Academicians hall.

Program participants registered at the Central Library, received a library card and stressed that, they intended to conduct a study within a few days.
