“Nakhchivan dialects and vocabulary lexicons in a common Turkic langauge” monograph by Zulfiya Ismayil, a leading specialist of the department of Linguistcs of the Institute of Art, Language and Literature of ANAS Nakhchivan Division, Dr. Philology, an assistant professor, was published by “Lambert Academic Publishing” of Germany in Turkish.
The book tells the history of the development of the Azerbaijani language in the Oghuz family, as well as comparative studies of ancient Turkic monuments, modern Turkic languages and their dialects in the context of Turkic languages. On the basis of rich dialectological materials, the role of Nakhchivan and Eastern Anatolian dialects in common Turkish culture has been investigated and proven by facts.
A comparative study of the terminology in Nakhchivan dialects and lexicons shows that the ancient language elements were preserved in this region.
The edition is intended for teaching dialectology, high school students, teachers, researchers and a wide range of readers.
