“Wild and cultural food plants of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic” book co-authored by Director of the Institute of Bioresources of ANAS Nakhchivan Division, academician Tariyel Talibov, employeers of the Institute - Professor Aliyar Ibrahimov, Doctor of Biology Ismail Mammadov, Doctor of Agrarian sciences Varis Guliyev, PhDs in Biology Anvar Ibrahimov, Teyyub Pashayev and PhD in Agrarian sciences Parviz Fatullayev has been published.

The main goal of the study is the cultivation of productive, high-quality varieties that are resistant to various soil and climatic conditions and biotic and abiotic factors, increasing productivity due to the intensive introduction of newly created productive varieties on farms, introducing new, high-quality varieties of intensive type, increasing the average wheat yield in this area, in order to satisfy the population's demand for food through domestic production.

A new publication reflects the results of scientific studies of the wild-growing gene and cultivated food plants, which were studied by the Institute of Bioresources.

The scientific editor of the book is the corresponding member of ANAS Elshad Gurbanov, the reviewers are the corresponding member of ANAS Tofig Mammadov and Doctor of Biology Aydin Askarov.
