Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

ANAS Institute of Soil Science and Agro Chemistry held scientific session was at of on the theme “Ecology, Land Reclamation, and Energy of Soils”. The event is dedicated to the 110th anniversary an outstanding soil scientist, USSR State Prize laureate, honored scientist, academician Vladimir Volobuev.

During session, Director of the institute, corresponding member of ANAS Alovsat Guliyev delivered a paper on “World outstanding scientist, academician V.R.Volobuev" and Doctor of Philosophy Yashar Gahramanov on "State of land and water resource management on the Kura-Araz plain".

Speakers Vilayat Hasanov, Doctor in Agrarian Amina Akhundova, Ph.D in Agrarian Farzali Hasanov, chief manager for international projects of the AR Ministry of Agriculture Arzuman Mammadov spoke on the importance of the scientist's scientific work. At the end of the event, to the participants of the event were donated the book dedicated to the scientist's anniversary.
