Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

ANAS Institute of Economics hosted an event dedicated to the 80th anniversary and 55th anniversary of the scientific and pedagogical activity of the outstanding economist, Honored Scientist, corresponding member of ANAS Ali Nuriev on October 11.

Opening the event, Director of the Institute of Economy, Professor Nazim Imanov spoke on the 55th anniversary of the scientific and pedagogical activity of Ali Nuriev. It was noted that, A.Nuriev is the author of 270 scientific works, including 25 monographs and brochures, as well as 8 monographs on topical issues of the formation of the territorial-production complex, deployment of productive forces, regional policy and management. Many of his scientific proposals have found their application in practice.
