Book “Nizami's Turkism and his attitude to Turkism in Nizami study of Azerbaijan” by the scientific secretary of the ANAS Institute of Linguistics, PhD in Philology, Associate Professor Azizaga Najafzadeh.

Event was held as part of the 7th Summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States.

Director of the National Library, Professor Karim Tahirov shared his thoughts on the new edition.

Noting that, Azerbaijani scholars made a great contribution to the culture and literature of the Turkic world, K.Tahirov emphasized that, book "Nizami's Turkism and his attitude to Turkism in Nizami study of Azerbaijan" will serve as a valuable source for the Nizami study.

Director of the National Library emphasized the importance of the monograph in Azerbaijani literature, and wished the author new creative successes.

Then, Deputy Director of the Institute of Manuscripts, Doctor of Philology, Professor Pasha Karimov said that, the book is a convincing response to foreign scholars.

Next, chief scientific adviser of the book and the author to the “Preface”, head of the Department of Nizami study of the Institute of Literature, corresponding member of ANAS Nushaba Arasly and Khalil Yusifov, head of the of Nizami study Center of Ganja State University spoke about the importance of Nizami's scientific interpretation in literary criticism.

Further speakers noted that, the monograph explores the works of Azerbaijani researchers of the 19th and 20th centuries, as well as the works of modern Azerbaijani scientists on the personality of the great Nizami as a Turk.
