The next meeting of the scientific divisions of the Young Scientists and Specialists Council of ANAS (YSSC) devoted to the results of 2019 was held.
The meeting was opened by the chairman of the Council PhD in Physics Famin Salmanov, who informed the participants of the event's agenda. He said that reports of the Divisions of Humanities, Earth, Chemical, Physical and Mathematical and Technical Sciences of ANAS will be listened. A number of projects were implemented to establish the unity of science and education, increase the popularity of science and integrate Azerbaijani science into the world science in accordance with the priority areas identified by the Presidium of ANAS, he added.
Then PhD in Chemistry assoc. prof. Afsun Sujayev has presented a report of the Division of Chemical Sciences, including assoc. prof. Eshgana Babayeva – Division of Humanitarian Sciences, Narmin Adigozalova – Division of Physicsal-Mathematical and Technical Sciences, PhD in geology-mineralogy Orkhan Abbasov – Institute of Geology and Geophysics, assoc. prof. Samira Alakbarova - Institute of Geography, Roxana Asgarova - Institute of Oil and Gas, and Lala Piriyeva - Republican Seismological Survey Center. The reports provide information on youth motivation, important achievements, articles published in refereed journals on the Web of Sceince and Scopus, published monographs, abstracts, as well as participation in local and international conferences.
Following the discussions, reports on the sections were evaluated, and a number of councils were encouraged to increase their activity.
