Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

December 2, Institute of Philosophy of ANAS held a meeting with Ambassador of France in Azerbaijan Zachary Gross and director of the French Institute in Azerbaijan Jerome Kel.

In advance, director of the Institute of Philosophy Professor Ilham Mammadzadeh informed the guests on activity directions and international relations of the institute chaired by him. Institute is looking for researches and cooperation via prestigious French Universities, Sorbonne and Sofia-Antipolis, and prepares academic editions for publication.

Later on, Zachary Gross informed about “Night of ideas”, covering five continents on topic “Survive” to be carried out January 30, 2020.

Within the meeting, it was agreed to contunie French language courses for young researchers at the Institute of Philosophy, underpinned by Embassy of France, including sides also exchanged views on inviting French philosophers to seminars at the Institute of Philosophy.
